Where to Watch
Lacrosse Rules
- Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) for pro action.
- ESPN+ for extensive college lacrosse coverage.
- Check out Woodland Middle School Lacrosse and Ravenwood High School Lacrosse
- Raptors follows the USA Lacrosse guidelines for boys and girls.
- Objective: Score by shooting the ball into the opponent's goal.
- Play starts with a face-off (boys) or draw (girls).
- Defenders use sticks to block passes and disrupt the offense.
- The goals, 6 feet by 6 feet, sit inside a circular "crease". An attacking player cannot enter the crease around the goal, but may reach in with his stick to scoop a loose ball.
- The team with the ball needs to complete two passes before they can make a shot on goal.
- Instead of facing off again after a goal, the team that was just scored on will take possession and clear it. This will speed up the play.
