Quick note for parents and Goal keepers: For training purposes, please make sure that your son or daughter has a pair of pants and long sleeves in order to preserve their bodies. During a game they are more than welcome to wear what ever they feel comfortable in to play. Training can get very vigorous and in order for your children to improve they can not be afraid to dive and get dirty due to lack of proper gear. Also, please make sure that you children have proper Goal Keeper gloves. I strongly suggest a glove with at least a 3mm thick foam palm so that they can handle firmly struck balls in training and in games. Typically serious Goal Keepers need to have two pair of gloves (one pair for training and one pair for games) so that they can preserve and increase the longevity of the game glove. Also, washing the glove will help the effectiveness of the grip of the glove plus the added bonus of the alleviating the smell. Simply filling the sink with warm water and dish soap (e.g. Palmolive or Dawn) and soaking the glove for 15min. followed by a thorough rinse and air dry will do the trick. (DO NOT WASH OR DRY IN WASHING MACHINE!!!)

If at any point questions arise, please do not hesitate to contact me. I have an "Open Door" policy. I really look forward to working with all the Goal Keepers this Fall.

See you on the field!
